7th International CPDP Conference on January 22-24, 2014 in Brussels, Belgium

January 17, 2014

Performing Data Protection: the Global Perspective

Every year in Brussels, CPDP (Computers, Privacy & Data Protection), a non-profit platform of renowned European and American universities and research institutions, gathers policy makers, academics, computer scientists, consultants, practitioners and activists from all over the world to exchange ideas and discuss emerging issues in information technology, privacy, data protection and law.

This year’s conference aims to stage more than 40 panels and workshops (with a stimulating mix of academics, practitioners, regulators and advocates), as well as multiple side events (such as open debates, Pecha-Kucha performances and artistic interventions).

Prof. Norbert Graf, coordinator of p-medicine, and Nikolaus Forgó, leader of the work package relating to the legal and ethical framework in the project, are confirmed as speakers at the conference.
