AMIA (American Medical Informatics Association) is the academic home for informatics and the AMIA Symposium is the leading scientific meeting for biomedical and health informatics research and practice. The AMIA 2014 Annual Symposium, to be held in Washington D.C. on November 15-19, 2014, presents work from many disciplines and specialties including both foundational and applied informatics and offers a variety of topics spanning bench to bedside research.
p-medicine will be represented at this year’s Symposium by Peter Coveney, UCL (University College London) who will be speaking about the p-medicine informatics platform and by Aisan Maghsoudi, Philips who will present a poster about “Workflow-based modeling cancer care trial protocols” prepared jointly with USAAR and the Technical University of Eindhoven.
